Nice tip on using a water bath to heat the hose end. I have a hose to fix and was contemplating using a propane torch but the water bath looks much easier.

Very helpful video. Thank you! I have been plagued for years by poor quality hose repair kits, most that leak or don't grip the threaded connector tight enough so that it spins when trying to screw nozzles or sprinklers in or off. And yes, those screw-type hose clamps really do cut your hands (ask me how I know). The moral of the story is, don't go cheap on the repair kits. But the metal ones that have the best clamping hardware.

Thank you so much for this! My husband and I were going to throw away our hose because the sprayer leaks and we can’t get it off the hose. Hard water and mineral build up I’m guessing. The hose is in great shape and it would have broken my heart to toss it. We will replace with the type of compressor you used in the video this weekend. So happy I ran across your video! P.S. We are in the Sandhills...zone 8b. Happy Gardening.🌻

I think you are showing at the store is a Female clamp coupling, but at the end you are using a male clamp coupling to connect with a hose. But thank you. Great video.

Yes I was just showing the different types of clamp options in the store not so much the end type just bc people may need a male or female repair end depending on the type of hose & what they are connecting to. But yes ur absolutely correct in my case I needed a male hose end to screw into my faucet. I just posted another vid where I needed a female hose end as well😉 Thanks for watching! 💚
