Why is every farmer the same, just put it back together and it will be fine. LOL. Good work Bob, thanks for sharing.

Given what you had to play with Tom, I think you did a fabulous job. Pity the customer wouldn't spend more money on it, when you consider how much a new bucket would cost. Cheers Nobby

Thanks Nobby. It was a juggle on how much to put into it versus his budget. I think it came out a win.

Another job in the books buddy! We sometimes have to work with what we are allowed, but you pulled that off well for the mess you had. Farmers are 75%ish of my cliental and they do talk! do do good work and you'll be really busy come first cut next year! lol

G'day Tom. Repaires like that one are always touch & go. The plates you fitted turned out really well. The only extra thing I would have done, would be to get a couple bits of scrap & welded into the open sides of the new plate. Excellent job, Well Done Ted
@hilltopmachineworks21312 ай бұрын
Thanks Ted. I did weld 2" wide plates to the sides for extra strength.

Great job sir - have to admit I thought the bucket was going to flip you over for a moment. Looks like it should be a solid repair. Always tough to get it how you want to do it when it’s a tight budget.

Tom - The price of the repair is relative to what side of the check you are on . When you buy the Farmers goods - do you get the luxury of cheaper pricies because his prices are not within your budget . I would do some bartering - some horse trading . He pays you an agreed amount of money and gives you some of his product . Think about it . "Been There " - "Done That" -- Jim
@hilltopmachineworks21312 ай бұрын
Hey there Jim. I worked out a deal to get some extras. 👍

Tom - That's Great ! Knowing You - I'm sure that you gave him a hell of of $$$ deal . If you had 50 Farmers looking for a hell of a deal - you would be broke . if that farmer gown tomatoes ect. ect. ect. --- Jim
