I've done heat dissipation experiments and you are absolutely correct that there is no substitute for fans. Heatsinks help but without airflow they are not very effective.

Awesome repair video. Thumbs up on replacing the 24 pin header with a square pin replacement. That is routine for any AUX or AVG that I repair. I curse Atari for not using a solder mask on the component side of their PCBs just about every time I repair a board. Have you tried "No Clean" Kester solder and what are your thoughts? I try to minimize the use of chemicals whenever I can.

yes i have used no clean solder and i don't like it as much. not a fan of how it flows as it just seems like there is not enough flux .

Damn your on a roll best tv show next to new rick and mortys!! Hate to ask but another tv to rgb conversion be awesome. Do you need to use caps and resistors on rgb input side whats that all about? How do you know what size to use? How do you find a blanking signal? And is all ground the same? Someday if you need a video idea. Great vids man always a awesome watch. Thank you.

Why are you using Ferric Chloride & Aluminum Oxide Powder instead of using White Vinegar and 90% Isopropyl Alcohol? I don't understand the benefits of using Ferric Chloride and Aluminum Oxide Powder to fix battery acid, solder lead/solder flux pcb board issues
@ArcadeJason3 жыл бұрын
speed . ferric chloride is just a bit faster that's all . the aluminum oxide is just to restore the shine
