on the minute 14:43 you mention the strike lever spring im trying to fix my old ansonia clock and that spring is broken is there a replacement somewhere or do i have to make it with some brass spring wire if i have to make it do you have maybe a diagram on how to do it or something?? great video helped me a lot in the assembly of mine

So...What size C-Clamps do you use for your Ansonia Mainsprings? (I have a Regulator A that I'd like to remove the top plate on)

Hi William, I use the clamp that fits the spring. Depending on the thickness of the spring and how much room I have in the movement. You will need a good assortment. Thanks

Thanks for sharing. I collect chess clocks and have quite a few, most made in Germany. Some of them are old and stopped working and hopefully they just need to be cleaned. I would love to bring them back to shape if I can. Any help is much appreciated Thanks so much
