We have been repairing double glazed units since 2009 and now have over 50 social housing providers using our innovative service.
Our repair process is unique, fast and convenient.
Work can be completed from both outside and inside of the home, does not need the window removing from its frame and provides a ‘first time’ fix customer experience.
Service benefits are compelling. We reduce maintenance costs, support the delivery of environmental objectives and deliver greater customer satisfaction.
We access the cavity of windows by making two 4mm incisions in opposing corners of the outside pane.
We inject our specially developed solutions to remove any moisture and mineral deposits from the inside face of the panes and then coat all internal glass surfaces with our unique anti-fog polymer.
All solutions are safely removed from the unit by vacuum pump, transferred to sealed containers and returned to our warehousing facility for recycling.
We inject our translucent sealing gel along the lower edge of the cavity in order to prevent further moisture ingress.
We then fit our de-fogging vents to allow the window to breathe and restore its thermal efficiency.
Our repair process has been verified by one of our country’s leading universities as an effective way to restore the thermal efficiency of failed double glazed units

" 'Restore' thermal efficiency"...wouldn't restoring thermal efficiency only be possible if the unit were re-gassed? Is it actually any more thermally efficient after having holes drilled in it than simply being misted up?
