You have to be one of the most interesting people on KZbin and consistently put out phenomenal content. I could never do this sort of tedious work but know enough to have tremendous respect for those who do. I watch because you make the topic interesting and and teach me how the things I use each day really work. Your videos can't not have a reach. Thank you for taking the time to do this.

I have a suggestion for your flux transfer, just use a pick. It picks up the perfect amount of flux that you need. I use one because I don't have my syringe anymore as well. it works very well for small surface mount work. I love your videos man keep up the great work!

I learned something, I need to send my unit in to you from the UK. This must be the same fault on my 2009 13”. Since I was sold a dodgy car charger that fried it, I replaced the dc in but still no joy. And that’s as far as my skill goes.

How do you know the solder won't solidify elsewhere apart from where you actually want it to go?

For a syringe, I used one of those ink cartridge refill kit syringes. Works great. Or see your local drug user.... Thanks again Louis

Hi Louis. Great videos. Thanks a lot from Russia. ) Concerning this video - how board works from power supply, and not working from charger? According to schematics you solder your power supply to the fuse f7905, exactly before non working resistance and Q7080, so how it can be true? Wether schematics is wrong?
@rossmanngroup

+семен семенов The magsafe supplies power based on what it perceives to be the resistance at the time. The PSU doesn't give a F and sends power through regardless.

+Louis Rossmann think that it is done not by adapter, but by the dc in board. Now i fully understand what's wrong with my board. I have 2.6 to 0.99 V spikes in any point of PPDCIN_G3H rail. Most likely first problem is in resistors of "power sense". I would like to translate some of your videos to Russian, how can i contact you for the details about this?

Yo, I think you really need to get another monitor for casting the screen, so it doesn't get so trippy every time! :D

I've thought about it and it would definitely be a good idea that I want to do. As lame as it sounds, it's just about investment. I put about 27k total into the project of doing board repairs and filming them on site here, including employees I hired/fired, equipment costs, machine costs, etc. I'm just done spending any money at all. I look at it and it would cost less than $100 to just get some shit monitor I mount on the wall next to the desk to control OBS from, and I don't even want to spend that, because if I spend that, it'll be ok to spend on something else, and something else, and it just never ends. So I just cut it off altogether. Short of something dying that is critical to work, I spend nothing on building upon the current setup. Editing these videos happens on my beat to shit T520 with cracks in the case even. But good idea.
