Thanks for the enlightening presentations on the repair of the Brocot escapement with both steel and jeweled pallets. Your graphical aids and attention to detail are to be commended. This escapement had been somewhat of a mystery to me in the past; but now I feel more confident I can handle its challenges. You had a great balance of theory, bench work and pacing through the repairs.

I have too much drop onto the exit pallet. The front bush of the pallet arbour is adjustable but seems to be fixed solid. It is a French movement of good quality. Not sure how to resolve that.
