Live your day as it is your last one. Try as much as possible to avoid even venial sins, and if you commit them, ask God forgiveness as soon as possible (bless himself with Holy Water or say the Our Father, would be enough)

At Timestamp 7:05, the RC Priest contradicts the Bible, saying that there are some sins or temptations that cannot be resisted. This contradicts God in His Holy Bible, where God promises that all sins and temptations will never be greater than what you can resist, AND God promises that He will always ensure there is an avenue of escape away from temptation (1 Cor 10:13; James 4:7; Mat 6:13, 26:41; Heb 2:18). Is this typical for RC Sermons, to mix truth with lies?

This is what the priest said: "If you are faithful to the call of His grace, He will be faithful to you and preserve you from the temptations which you could not resist or He will watch the combat that His Divine help will make your soul rise superior to the trial. And thus in every temptation you will not find defeat but a merit of victory all the more glorious as it seems so much above the power of human strength to bear." I believe the point is that a man on his own cannot easily resist or combat against temptation. I understood "temptations which you could not resist" to mean they could not be resisted by a person's will alone but only with divine help through the grace and power of God. And, sure, if there's a temptation that a man struggles with, through obedience to God, fervent prayer and faithfulness God may choose to "remove" or " preserve" him from the temptation. Or, if not, God will provide the grace and power to combat and overcome the temptation. But, the point is that it's God's power not our own that makes it possible. So, again, He can choose to remove the temptation or give you the power to overcome. This is quite biblical and in line with everything you've quoted. The main idea is even temptation is an opportunity for victory and that all the power is God's alone because without Him we're not able. This is how I understood what he was saying, and I don't see any part that could be called lies or contrary to scripture. Maybe pray and listen again, and I hope you will see the intent and wisdom of what was said. And may the Lord bless you and everyone reading this as well. Also, God I'm very thankful for hearing this today. I truly needed a reminder.
