Aah the memory comes flooding back........ Had a front slide at the Woodlands 'kink' in the Thundersport Formula 600 back in the day. Ran on the grass and went lock to lock almost all the way to the last corner........ What fun!!!! Glad to see you're alright Ricky - you managed to avoid the 'Ambulance' in the 'It went sky ground sky ground ambulance' scenario......

Ricky be careful one of my work colleagues who was very much into bike racing and had no fear ended up in a chair due to a massive off. At least in a car you have some protection. Stay safe 👍👍

had gravel rash when i was 17, last time i wore jeans while riding my motorcycle in the 80s, i feel your pain.

Did the same last year in same place,tucked the front. I didn't stop tumbling down the grass for it felt like 10 minutes 😭. My bike was not good tank got squashed and other bits. Went back 2 weeks ago and had a high side at old hairpin 😂. Pembrey doesn't like me I don't think. Good luck mate

Some wankers in this comment section, some risks taken resulting in minor injury and my goodness, you ought to wrap yourself up in cotton wool forevermore because life should be as safe as possible at all times😂😂 Life is for living and enjoying, and taking risks has been part of the development of the human race since day dot. We are born to take risks. No doubt these commenters will go on to live long, but boring and unfulfilling lives - and if that’s the case, what is the point? Good to see you and the bike aren’t too smashed up either way💪

it is all luck if you come off at 140.... the bike could have easily gone end over end and obliterated its self...

I have her support. Can get killed crossing the road….I have all the right gear, I do it in a controlled environment with full medical cover. 140mph crash and I got up and walked away….shows how good the kit is these days!

ive done done the same, think it was 2015 crashed out of the kink on my r1, was quisckest pace id ran .. if I remember the previous lap at a 1:02 (ish)... yeh tipped the white line..and lost the front... not the smoothest of washing machine experiences.
