Bit of drive by shooting I like doing a bit of this always on the look out for a shot. Great series Gary.

It just shows that its not about what you have in the shot, its about what you keep out of the shot. Lovely final image. I was shooting quite a lot of these linear images a couple of years ago, as I'd become really fed up with 'vista' type landscapes (foreground/middle distance/background).

Another lovely video Gary, thank you. The colours in those trees were quite something, I think toning them down a bit definitely helped the overall feel of the photo. I kept finding myself wishing that the main birch had more separation from the big (oak?) next to it on the right - however not being there of course I have no idea if that was even possible. I really enjoy the way you talk through your editing process, and why you make certain decisions on the direction you’re going with the photo, it makes the whole vlog so much more engaging (well, for me it does anyway, not sure Michael would agree 😁).

That’s a really lovely final image. I think it’s inspiring to see what you can do from the roadside.

I enjoyed the video as usual Gary. It's interesting to see how you set the shot up and then show how you edit it. Look forward to the next one.

I really like this format that includes both the shoot and the processing. I like your version of the image and it is somewhat different from what I might have done, its about personal taste I guess. Looking forward to working on your challenge image. Thanks for the vlog.

Nice Gary. Loved the processing on it. Too bad you didn’t take that blob and turned it into a Sasquatch 😅.

Do you realise how many times I have looked at those same birches and thought I really should stop there one day

I’ve been there!!! lol Being so familiar kinda makes me have more ‘rights’ to comment 👀 ‘I must stop making silly comments’ 🤦🏼♂️ my first thoughts are wow, please keep your eyes on the road ahead when driving 😂 You do manage to find shots in for most of us would be mundane locations 😞 Guess that’s ’an eye for it’ 👍🏽 also you have a talent for transforming what initially may be described as a ‘snapshot’ for some into a piece of art lending us to cry out ‘give us the What3words location for that gem please! My only critique about these videos is not enough time spent explaining in more detail how you went about the edits…..but then I’m probably in the minority and others would find that boring 😂 call me Mr interesting 🤪
