Not gonna lie, I was cussing up a storm because I could not get my hand in there to twist it out. Then I noticed you went in under that wire and once I tried that it took no time at all. Thanks!

Thank you. I just used your video and changed my headlight bulb. I acknowledge you for your clarity. AND, my Kia Sedona is a 2014 and it uses this light bulb too. I purchased the wrong bulb - I guess a different 2014 option - had to take it back and get this one. I appreciate your wisdom of taking the old bulb out first and purchasing the correct one the first time. A great learning that I passed onto my kids today.

When it's cold out like it is today, 9°, the cover and the bracket are much harder to turn. I dropped the cover and it fell all the way down. There's not eniugh room to put 2 hands. I had to remove the skid plate underneath. There's no way I could get my hand and arm down there but I could see it. I can't get the bracket that holds the bulb to move so I'm running the engine to see if it warms up enough. We'll see.

It worked! But it still was much more difficult to do in the winter than the summer!!! I realized this time the harness wires leading to the socket could be a little bit longer!!!!!

Thank you for this and maybe I can save somebody 20 minutes of headache by adding that the cover for the drivers and passengers door are not oriented the same way. On the passengers door you put the cap on with the tab thing to the side and pull it until it's almost straight up. On the driver's door you put the cap on with the tab pointed up and push it down until it's pointed to the side. This makes sense when you think about it but it took me about 20 minutes before I got them both on.

@@becausestuffbreaks Easy to change the passenger side bulb. On the driver's side I dropped that cover down into the engine bay. 🤦♀️ Fortunately my neighbor had something to fish it out with. 👍🏻

A 1-1/4” 12 point socket works beautifully fitting over the fixture that holds the bulb in place. It reaches across the two tabs and let’s you loosen that tight rascal. I used a 1-1/4”socket, a 3/8” to 1/2” adapter and a 3/8 inch ratchet with a flex head and I couldn’t believe how easy it was. I loosened and then tightened it using the same tool.

Wouldn't it prudent to check the (new) bulb operation BEFORE putting it back into the housing? If been unfortunate enough to have purchased headlights, only to find out one doesn't work. Thank you for your insight!

Thanks so much for the tutorial! Fingers are a little sore from the tight space, but installation went smooth. Heaven knows what the Kia dealer would charge (I guess $125). Just had to spend $25 for the bulb.
