👀👀👀Ok, for the problem with the inks too far to the right, I shut the door (lid) back down. Turn on the printer and then lift the lid, the inks should slide over to the left just enough. No where does this video say- DO THIS WITH THE POWER ON- Come on HP!!!!!!!

The ink cartridge isn’t going down the way it does in the video. There’s a black bar preventing the ink from fitting into the slot and it feels like if I press it down it’ll break the bar. Why does HP have to make the most simplistic things so difficult!

@@HPSupport ME TOO!😡🤬😤😭 This is VERY upsetting! I NEED to get this working NOW!!! I've taken the cartridges (new!) out and put them back in, lock them down and close the lid It makes a kind of grinding noise as the bar moves back and forth, then the red stop sign pops up. I DID get one of those printed sheets that automatically come up. THIS IS DRIVING ME NUTS! This is not Rocket Science but WHAT AM I DOING WRONG???

Why does my printer have a E0 code after setup? I’ve taken it out and cleaned. Switched cartridges and it said to put the setup cartridge back even though it’s saying E0

Just so exasperating. I searched "Replace Ink" in the HP help menu on the software I installed on my computer and it returned no results. Now I have the far right alignment ink cartridge issue. Must you make everything so *#@!(@ absurd? Printers 15 years ago are superior to this and didn't want to have a conversation with me every time I printed a grocery list.

Well, after back-and-forth a 1/2 a dozen times I'm playing around and finally figured out how to remove the cartridge. Go ahead ask me I couldn't tell you because it was just trial and error

+kalikochan Follow these steps to install or replace ink cartridges in the HP ENVY 6000/ENVY Pro 6400/DeskJet Plus Ink Advantage 6000/6400 printer series: - Lift the ink cartridge access door when a blinking light appears on the corner of the printer. - If replacing a cartridge, the printer indicates which cartridge to replace with an amber light. - Remove the setup or replacement cartridges from their package and on each cartridge, pull the orange tab to remove the protective tape. - For the cartridge that needs to be installed or replaced, lift the corresponding lid in the printer. - Insert the cartridge, and then close the lid. - If necessary, repeat this process for the other cartridge, and then close the access door. - If setting up your printer, return to HP Smart, tap Continue and then tap Continue again to print an Alignment Page. - If replacing a cartridge, the Alignment Page prints automatically. - Lift the scanner lid and place the Alignment Page print side down on the scanner glass, where indicated. - Touch the blinking Copy button on the printer to complete the alignment process. - Resume printing or setting up your printer.

Happened to me at work today. I tried installing when the printer was off and the black ink cartridge was under the plastic, so I switched on the printer gave it a few seconds and when I opened the lid it was in the same position as in the video. I installed the two cartridges (so easy) No one at the office knew how to do it, they were waiting for the technician and this video made me look like a hero :)

I AGREE! Also, none buttons are labeled, so it is a guessing game. And the ink indicator is hidden somewhere or you have to go online to find it. Nothing is intuitive. I think some evil HP engineer said lets make this as difficult for the user as we can.

Since no one will say how to do it when the plastic piece is covering the black ink: turn the printer on. Open it up. Take ur finger and slide the colored ink cartridge over to the left and it will slide both over as far as u need so you can change the black ink. Slide them back to the right and shut the lid.

That is my point, the video does not show how to remove the cartridges and the written instructions say to just remove them, but no mention of any technique. I finally got the old one out, but it was a frustrating experience. There has to be an easy method. I've had two HP printers in the past and never had this issue. @@HPSupport
