I don’t know if the experience I had was common, but it certainly just didn’t plug and play! The actual door I”Panel Loosening” , and all that went great… but that mirror was like trying to put a marshmallow in parking meter? … I actually considered trimming the foam?

Another job well done, Kev. You must have saved yourself around 5 hundred bucks! I had a mirror to replace on my 2012 Dodge pickup one time. Dealer wanted 850 dollars to replace. I bought one for $95 and put it on. Highways try to rob you sometimes.

Thanks Dennis👍I had one replaced “under warranty “ 20 years ago … dealer paperwork said 400 bucks so I wasn’t about to pay that or more on this one… it’s one of those things where if and when I ever do it again , it would be easier second time around! 👍👀👍

I've had several Lincoln Town cars. Nothing that new. Fun cars. Trivia. A 77 Lincoln limited slip rear-end will bolt in to a 74 F100. Thank you Kev.

@Kev’s Can Cave We've moved away from new in recent years. It's hard to justify the money. In the late 80s we would buy new every 4 years. We got decent trade in, and would save most of the cash. Times sure change. Thanks again Kev

Mirrors are fun🤪😜 We've put tow mirrors on a few pickups, aftermarket, so it wasn't like buying a new pickup..lol The ones we put on dads pickup, worked right.. the ones on my pickup, it seems they wired the plugs wrong. Up and down is right and left... and vice-versa... Good job Kev!!!

That's a great job with that ,brother. I have done a lot of that stuff when the wife and I worked at a Ford dealership, and it's a lot of exploration work,lol. 70 bucks' amazing price. I don't even want to know what an 08 expedition limited drives side is worth, took a rock tour ours.

Thanks! Steve… All the pieces were surprisingly there..wiring not damaged..I had actually considered running a sheet metal screw through it and gluing the pieces.. and that would’ve happened if they would’ve wanted a stupid price for it!
