I have a two door model and if I hit the breaks studently, and if this part is damage, it will sound like something hit the underbelly of the car. At the beginning a thought it was something on the rear break shoes, but sure enough it is the rear control arm bushing !

Nice video, Mike. Easy to see, easy to follow. I liked your comparisons of OEM to Aftermarket part (new and old ball joint compare too). This added some time to your project, so thanks for going to the trouble to shoot and post here.

When you have a range of torque like that, do you hit the low, middle, or high to be the best? Thanks.
@N-Scale7 жыл бұрын
I like to hit the middle. I consider it more + or - Thanks , Mike

Well done Mike. I think I will stick to my new toy my 1954 Chevy hot rod. Quite a bit easier to work on!

I don't blame you there. This is our 5th Suzuki and they are generally trouble free. This one is a 1994 and has 180,000 miles. Mike

How hard was it getting the gas tank out and how long did it take to get the tank back in?
@N-Scale7 жыл бұрын

Awesome video. I have the side to side feeling in my 4 door zook. Did you ever swap tires and take care of the rest of the side to side?
@N-Scale7 жыл бұрын
I did get new tires and between the two it is greatly reduced but still seems to be there to a small degree. Thanks , Mike

That sensor coming out of your rear differential is for the rear wheel anti lock brakes.....
@N-Scale7 жыл бұрын
Mine does not have ABS. Thanks , Mike
@Inisfad7 жыл бұрын
I believe you either had rear wheel anti lock brakes (NOT ABS) or the LSPV system in these cars. The sensor coming out of the rear diff was for RWAL. If you check in the driver's side footwell, you should see a small black box, about 4" x 4" screwed into it, up by the top of the pedals. If so, that's your RWAL computer. LSPV would have the spring weight on the right rear of your frame, which I didn't notice in your video.

Thanks , I will check. Mike

On mine the round bar that goes across that holds that assy with the ball joint has rusted apart from the FRAME if you believe that...I dont know what to do about that..im scratching my head on this one.
@N-Scale3 жыл бұрын
You would need someone to disassemble the rear end and weld a new piece in. Mike
@kennynvake4hve5843 жыл бұрын
@@N-Scale can you even buy that piece? Looks like it's part of the frame..thanks for answering so fast
