Replace the Blower Resistor on a Hyundai Accent

In this video i show you, how to replace the Blower Resistor in your car. That´s a possible fault, when your Blower works only at the highest position, which can be 3 or 4 (maybe higher, depends on your car). The position of the Resistor depends also on your car, maybe you must remove a cover before. The car in the video is a 2006 Hyundai Accent. It´s easy and done quickly, if you have a minimum of tools and a minimum of mechanic skills. If you have other problems with your heating/cooling system, you may check the other parts also.

If you have the same fault like i described in the video, in the most of the cases it´s the blower resistor. Please tell me, if you could solve the problem.

Hi. I think yes in combination with a soft brush. I did it dry, without spray.

It was also only a demonstration video. It was ok, so i put it back. I think i would replace it because it´s maybe not repairable.

Thank you. Add disconnect the negative battery terminal. Show cleanup along with a before and after closeups of part. Given the part price of around $20 to $30 dollars I will probably go that route. Appreciate the video because that is exactly my Hyundai Elantra problem.

Thanks for your suggestions. Unfortunately i can´t add scenes to the video, You are right, the negative battery terminal should be disconnected at all electric repairs.
