If your clamp is that worn out you’re either messing with it too frequently or it’s already old & by the time the clamp is old so is the hosing, instead of the clamp I would recommend swapping out the whole thing for another one & if you can, get aluminum parts instead of the cheap ass plastic they use 😂

Any chance of a Crank Sensor installation video?

Can do when one fails. But those are fairly easy

What is the part number for the clip? I looked on real oem and couldn’t find it
@alphadevyat2 жыл бұрын
BMW does not list this clip separately. Someone in comments below posted a PN for a clip from an M47/N47 motor. Not confirmed it’s the same but you can try it.

Good thing I don’t have a egr anymore 😂

I bought a China hose just to use the clip. The hose and coupling were trown away, as the quality was really bad. My original clip worn out and broke. :/
@alphadevyat3 жыл бұрын
You can always buy a clip from BMW.
@Robert.K3 жыл бұрын
@@alphadevyat I'm not so sure about that. Do you have a part number?
@alphadevyat3 жыл бұрын
@@Robert.K just before posting I went to look for a PN. Realoem does not seem to list it neither fir an E90 nor for E70 platform. Which is strange. I’m sure if I drop by the dealer they will find it though. I’ll post it if I get it. Please do the same.

@@alphadevyat Sadly BMW doesn't sell the clip, only the complete hose/tube. A clip with part number 17517787821 looks like it could fit, but I haven't tried. It's for the intercooler side of the tube on some cars with the M47 and N47 engines. I doubt that it fits, but it could be worth a try.

ATM Makes an adapter and hose for it....

Thanks Lee. We are know the product and have used it in the past. This was more of a video for people to check this clip and wear especially if they see a leak from that area.

great thank you, but do you change the 2 motor suport and the one of the gear box ? the motor vibrate alot when they come old. i understand they are to change at max 160.000km but not sure for m57 engine... :)
@alphadevyat3 жыл бұрын
They are vacuum controlled and first is to check the el co trip valve, overall vac system tightness and each motor mount vac tightness. They do wear out over time and do not hold vacuum.
@fraizer26003 жыл бұрын
@@alphadevyat then those with vacum like on my 635d dont need to be replaced like other normal bmw ?
@alphadevyat3 жыл бұрын
@@fraizer2600 if your 635d motor mounts are hydraulically filled and vacuum controlled then eventually they will need attention. But check control system first. If vac control system does not work well or you have system leaks then you will experience vibrations. Vac controlled hydro motor mounts are soft below 900rpm and below 60kph. May vary slightly on each platform but you get the idea.

@@alphadevyat i get lost haha about that part : ""Vac controlled hydro motor mounts are soft below 900rpm and below 60kph. May vary slightly on each platform but you get the idea."" regarding the vacu control system is new. but my engin support have now 165.000km. about the leak is easy to see ? i get the car at this km then nothing to compare before after. but i dont think is vibration. under ista with icom next is no error. i just dont want that problem happen when i will be to busy on problems to solve to have to fix the car lol. i did many parts dont need to be for the moment be replaced to be just in peace for i hope many years. (i touche nothing on the back of the car and in front almost all except that engine support haha)
