Great install video. I received this decklid a few weeks ago. Finally had the time to install it the other day. Well, I have a 2019 Gt and it doesn't line up with the factory holes. New decklid has to many clips and the trunk doesn't have enough holes. Returning it

really useful video, thanks. I recently put on a decklid (not steeda), here are a couple of comments which might help others. First, the camera can be super hard to disconnect. Apparently there is a clip on it which you press down on, I couldnt find it. Luckily after wiggling it around a bit and squeezing mine just popped off. But then I couldnt get it done a second time, which brings me to point 2. Second, as one user noted below, aftermarket decklids can have too many clips - it has 2 prongs and two clips too many. I just cut the extras off. But as I only realised that when I had reconnected the camera, I tried (but failed) disconnecting the camera the second time, so I had to cut them off while it was dangling off the car. A multi tool was perfect for that. Third, I didnt appreciate that you have to slide it up while you click it back in, otherwise it wont fit in to the bottom slots. Silly me, hurried through the video.

This will be perfect when I matte it. One by one eliminating the weird gloss bits that don't match the majority matte bits.

If you're talking about the letters on the decklid, those are reserved for serialized Steeda Vehicles.

I love these video's but for me personally, I see all this money adding up quickly!! Guy's spend almost a grand just on Tail lights.. I know people who have spent like $5000 on dumb shyt, that's not needed at all.. And for another 5 grand you could have a Whipple.. Think about it!? Every $150 you spend on a shifter ball or $900 on tail lights can be put under the mattress and saved towards a Whipple.. And if you think the money doesn't add up quick like that, you are only fooling yourself. I see it all the time, people spending like 5/6 Grand on dumb stuff without really adding any power to the car at all.. And if I am being honest, a car that looks heavily Mod'ed isn't going to re sell the same as a car that's been left stock.. It's just a fact..

Factory decklids have holes in them unfortunately you’d have to patch up.
