Lucas RB108 12 volt dynamo regulator control box. This product is produced by one of the surviving arms of the original Lucas company. The RB108 is designed for generators or dynamos of a low current output, often to be found in agricultural applications. Use with higher output dynamos such as Lucas type C42 and C45 may damage the item.

The Lucas RF95 type 9 post Control Box/Regulator was fitted to many cars from just before WWII until the 1950's and has not been available for some time now. This is a reproduction, made by ourselves using all new components. Each one is tested on our bespoke test rig once assembled and adjusted as necessary. A final adjustment to suit your dynamo may be necessary. This is the 12 Volt version.

You may need to make a final adjustment to suit your dynamo as necessary. This is the 6 VOLT version.

Hello everybody ! can someone tell me if this controller also works for a bosch 12v dynostarter?! I think the year is 1969... I use it on a volvo penta md1b engine!

A bit confused Roy mentioned voltage at ie 16volts is too high but suggested setting it at around 16 to 16.5v?

Yes...I think the ideal setting is 14 to 14.5 volts Max.

Hi, the official Lucas testing data quotes that the regulators are set between 15.8 and 16.4 volts, this is when the battery output reaches the same as the regulator, in practice we have not come across one that actually goes that far, but close
