The only clones Dee Bradley Baker doesn’t voice are the young ones and Omega. His range as the Bad Batch is truly excellent. Clones remember what they do while under Order 66, except for Tup in Clone Wars but he was in and out of it because his chip was malfunctioning. Wrecker’s doll Lula is a tooka cat. You guys are quite familiar with the sub species loth cats Lama Su is the prime minister. Nala Se is the female scientist who Omega was the assistant to.

Dee Bradley Baker is a bigger legend than most know in the animation and game space. Seriously, his credited roles are nuts. Every animal voice in Avatar: The Last Airbender, Legion in Mass Effect, Wesker in Resident Evil, every clone in Clone Wars, Bad Batch and most of the more recent games like Battlefront II, and so, so many more. If you're ever curious, just go look at his career. It's nuts how many times he's been in something and you just never knew it or couldn't recognize him, the guy's vocal range is phenomenal. Another prime example? Him playing the Flood/Gravemind in Halo - half the sounds you hear from the thing aren't post-processing, it's nuts to see him just make those noises during line readings in behind the scenes audio booth clips.

I absolutely love the fact that when Hunter picks Omega out of the hole, the first thing he does is look her over for any injuries. Subtle touches like that just really sell how much he cares about her and how much of a dad figure he is
@HaydenWerren2 күн бұрын
Fun Fact: War Mantle (the project mentioned by Tarkin and Rampart) is one of the projects listed by Jyn Erso in Rogue One along with Stardust (Death Star project).
@jomole14302 күн бұрын
Ever since I played Jedi Survivor, I can't stop thinking about Bode Akuna every time I see Vice Admiral Rampart on screen (they're played by the same actor). The reason Omega has such a distinctive accent (and pronounces her name with a long "E") is because the actress who voices her is a native of New Zealand, so she's speaking with an authentic accent.

It always amuses me the way when something bad happens in a show or movie people go this isn't for kids. As if kids aren't aware that bad shit happens. Telling kids the world is harmless is setting them up for pain and failure.

I never thought I’d feel this way but looking back at some of these episodes is starting to feel nostalgic just like clone wars. I think this show aged well just like that one minus the filler episodes of course

Congratulations to Marketa and Chris! Welcome Gungan Thunder Jr! This was such a great establishing episode. I love the relationships being laid out, and Omega finding her place in the team. DBB is amazing, isn't he? And apparently he goes back and forth between the characters in the sound booth as he performs the lines. It totally blows my mind.

The Bad Batch and Andor are the only Star Wars projects that made the Empire feel like viable threats. Obviously Andor mores than BB, but I appreciate both portrayals

No matter WHAT situation I was in, I would *never* kill another person just because I was told to. My morals, beliefs, and principles always come first. I'll never understand anyone who can do something evil/bad/wrong/unethical/immoral just because they're told to. Even if you're threatened with death, fuck it, every innocent life matters just as much as yours. And how could you want to live if you're a murderer now? "Orders" don't excuse anything.

IDK why Suraj thinks Omega has to have some kind of "ability." She's a clone, not an X Man lmao. Really enoying the reactions to the tonal shift from Rebels.

Who's to say Omega doesn't have special powers?
@tortoiseoflegends44662 күн бұрын
@dwnkaomwn3953 Because she doesn't lmao. The rest of the Batch were engineered to be specialists. Omega however is just the same as Boba Fett. Exceptional genetically and ages slower than other clones but not superhuman. The only hints of anything more are in season 3, there's literally no reason so far in the show to think she's anything more than a smart kid with natural talent. Especially nothing like the ability to talk to animals like freaking Doctor Doolittle.
@heyiamnick41442 күн бұрын
To be fair when the show first came out there were plenty of people who assumed that Omega has some sort of special abilities which is why she'd be so important.
