This has been my quest for the last five years either going new OEM Litronic at $2153 per side or new halogen with clear lenses for a lot less...😟

Yeah it’s a huge difference in price. I simply like the halogen look better. For me, I’d rather find a second set with the clear turn signals and clear corner piece and have the 2 options to swap between for different looks.

Get a plastic welder and learn to plastic weld. Helps you save some money on all the plastic parts that will break on the 986.

I'm pretty sure you are incorrect here. Probably MOST driving enthusiasts with weekend special cars rarely drive at night. Doesn't mean they are not an enthusiast. I have a 1999 996 and it is very rare when I drive at night
