Thanks for sharing your experience. I Just saw your videos, I'm having the same problem with a kvf750 2006. Did the fuel valve really solve the problem for good or something else come up later?

I've changed everything on that atv except the harness...might be the cure but I'm not in the mood to change it out yet. Still not running a 100% but good for yard work. Thanks!

Where does the other hose go to the one in the peacock not the fuel one but the other one

I think it's just an air return line, not exactly sure though.

Might be dirty contacts on the bendix or in the starter causing the starter to think you released the switch. Seeing how everything on this machine was either patched or left to fill up with dirt.

Thanks Fred! Ya, everything was pretty bad.

Could the ignition timing be a little early? That can cause the engine to kickback and cause the bendix to disengage.

Timing should be fine, I think unfortunately the starter clutch is slipping. Gonna try a different oil and see if that makes a difference. Hopefully don't have to replace the starter clutch...

Glad that the fuel issue got fixed, but the starter is another kick in the …..well you know what I mean . Don’t worry spring isn’t here yet either … getting to be B.S .

I just love your videos because they always solve my brute problems 😂, could you tell me where you get the spare parts? I would like to rebuild my carbs and the entire fuel system like the vacuum pump and the one you show in the video but I'm sick of Chinese parts that just break. I thank you

Glad the vids are helpful. Most of the parts I buy from Fortnine in Quebec Canada fortnine.ca/en/ Some parts come from looking them up on Google. Good luck

I hope so but still more work ahead of me. Can't believe the crappy shape this machine was in!

@Rob Farrow ATV some people have no pride of ownership, one of my quads is a 1989 kawasaki bayou 220 starts up first pull or push of start button

Great place replace the starter Bendix

I changed out the oil from synthetic to regular and it doesn't skip anymore. The synthetic was too slick for the starter clutch. Thanks Man!
