At least I'm not the only one who swears so bad trying to get past one lousy bolt, that takes all kinds of tactics to get the darn thing off lol. I would not like to see myself act like a lunatic on film, because I usually end up throwing something if it's that much of a pain in the arse. I like any video you post, because the commentary is so good, so thanks Warren, for another great video.

Few can swear like a mechanic , one of those though is a sailor. You combine the best and worst of both of those. I think it is a riot. Knowing I am not alone in the cussing of engineers makes me feel better about myself.

I was cussing today also Warren, when I was working on my lawn mower and went to sit on my roller stool and it wasn’t there! I didn’t really hurt but a 65 year old guy should be a bit more careful huh!! Thanks much for the entertainment. I wish KZbin would let you put out a blooper video, I’ll bet it would be hilarious! Thanks for sharing your videos.

Once again, those engineers need to spend some time in the field with a wrench in their hands. Good to see the process, I can imagine its still a nice truck if you only have to drive it !

Great video’s Warren. After wrenching on other peoples crap for 45 years, my first thought now is, how bad am I going to get hurt and will I be visiting the emergency room. I then price the job accordingly.

If the seals are too blown out to let it release, you can back off (or remove) the plates on the back side of the clutch. Those hold the clutch material in place and will release once they're loose/off.

Warren- This job would be an excellent application of a smoke machine. Plumb it to the main air tank, turn it on. You'd see every leak, very easily. You can even add dye, use the glasses to see the colored smoke. Could you please at least try one in a real or mocked situation?

I'm just here for the cuss words🤣🤣 I watch your videos and think it would be cool to be a full time mechanic, then a little while ago I had to remove the starter on my tractor just to get the tank off the power steering pump to replace the o ring and filter and had a 12pt bolt in the back of the starter and both parts I ordered were wrong. Now I don't really want to be a mechanic 🤣

If you think Texans talk funny you should come on over to Alabama. You'll need an interpreter.LOL! My wife is a Air Force brat and I we've been together for41 years this June. I still have to translate my own words. Love her though. There's always that one bolt that you can just get the socket on and you can't get enough pressure on or it's seems like they welded it on.

On the Detroit DD series the tensioners have a 1/4 hole in the front and rear tensioners to hold them in the open position if you don't have the pins for them you can use 1/4 extensions or 1/4 bolts Fan belt circuit needs about 4-5 long The serpentine belt is 2 inches long or so On the serpentine circuit prior to removing the belts you can reach the sq drive from the front with a 2 inch extension makes life way easier than monkey fuckin around with 6 inch from the back door just sayin
