I got you bro! I showed how to change the chain in the video. While doing this I noticed the light wires were frayed so that's why I also replaced that as well (It's a fire/shock hazard)

@@DuctTapeMechanic Yeah I found mine in trash, it was dated 2002. The pull chain is fine but has grease coating on it and it's difficult to clean the chain.

u dont rlly need to replace the chain, u can spray WD40 in it and i think ittl work

You didn't say which switch you were replacing. Turns out you just replaced the light switch. I was looking for the fan switch.

Mine works fine when I pull it outward but doesn't when I pull it downward. Does it still need replaced?
