Actually the secret is when instaling a new ABC pump or even when the reservoir is empty and you fill it up, before starting the engine just turn the pump pulley a few turns to charge the pump manually with oil. Then when the engine is started workshop manual says you need to pressurize the reservoir, basically the engine needs to be started with the reservoir pressurized. This way you’ll avoid pressure issues. Don’t forget it’s a dual pump so you’ll need to bleed the steering side also. If it helps i cand send you WIS manual for this job. Good luck 🙏

And what's great about the Mercedes S600 not counting the S65 AMG or the Barabbas rocket 900 or the Bullet 800 when you get rid of the speed limiter or put an aftermarket engine management computer in it those things will just about eat a Ferrari
