Thank you for this video; just wondering if the limiter would stop a worn out shoe to engage and damage the drum or not.

do you have to rotate back the self break adjuster to the start, to take the play out of it?

thanks for the video . very helpful . 1 thing I encountered was that the new shoes were hard to assemble together springs kept popping out . I had to pray to God to help me lol

When replacing the drums, does it mater what way round you press the bearings in?

I did this, now the handbrake does nothing when pulled. Any ideas?
@ianclose12310 күн бұрын
I've just done this job today and I'm in the same position. Brakes feel spongy and the handbrake does almost nothing. If you don't mind me asking, did you identify how to fix it when you had this problem?
@minionstoys76159 күн бұрын
@@ianclose123 Yes, had to replace handbrake cable. Spongy feel means u have to bleed the brakes
@ianclose1239 күн бұрын
@minionstoys7615 thank you. I was expecting I might need to bleed the brakes but wasn't expecting the cable would need replacing so you've probably saved me some time diagnosing the issue. Thanks again.
