Replacing Engine Air Filter in 2009 - 2015 Porsche Panamera

Made this video several years ago to show how to replace the engine air filter in the Porsche Panamera. Thought this might be helpful for people who are wondering how to get to the engine air filter. The process is similar for the Porsche Cayenne of the same era.... (If you are foolish enough to take your Panamera to Jiffy Lube for an oil change and they say that your "air filter is dirty", ask them to show you...) If you can't find the air filter in your newer Porsche, it's probably behind the bumper somewhere.

I'm looking at a '14 Panamera, 3.0L V-6. Seems like a lot of trouble just to replace the air filter. Porsche doesn't do anything simple. Or do anything to cut down on dealership tech shop hours.

Think it is 40000 miles or 4 years. I think I got a Mahle filer for about $65.

Yes, There are some clips on both sides that snap in and I was worried that I would break them if I pulled too hard. Probably about 1 1/2 - 2 hours start to finish. I also removed one of the marker light bulbs on the driver's side so that i could get enough slack to lay the bumper cover on the floor.
