I'm looking at a '14 Panamera, 3.0L V-6. Seems like a lot of trouble just to replace the air filter. Porsche doesn't do anything simple. Or do anything to cut down on dealership tech shop hours.

Think it is 40000 miles or 4 years. I think I got a Mahle filer for about $65.

Were you disappointed when you saw that the filter wasn’t even as dirty as you thought or is I thought it would’ve been to go through all that change it. thanks for the share, though. I will check to see how much Barber Shop would charge to do that first before going to the shop.

I just changed it and even if it was not so dirty I rather paid the $60 bucks and I will forget about it for a while. I was not so annoying the process.

Was there a snag on the passenger side of the bumper? Also, what was the amount of time DIY? Thanks👍

Yes, There are some clips on both sides that snap in and I was worried that I would break them if I pulled too hard. Probably about 1 1/2 - 2 hours start to finish. I also removed one of the marker light bulbs on the driver's side so that i could get enough slack to lay the bumper cover on the floor.

For the amount of effort, At least wont have those shady mechanics check the air filter everytine i get an oil change done. For some reason, they always find the air filter dirty. Lol
