Thanks JC. Good video. I use half a drop of Liquid Electrical Tape. Its easy to get off in case you need to change the lens again, but holds the lock-in securely.

Nice video brother, a quick question if I may about that Hellbender camera mount. I have a rmrc strix which uses the same metal mount, and my runcam swift is really loose in the mount until I tighten the grub screw, but the grub screw damages the camera's plastic housing if tightened too much. What do you recommend as a fix for this, or should I just use a metal housed camera such as the Strix or Eagle camera's for this style mount? Thanks in advance JC, and keep up the great work.

Yep I know exactly what you're talking about. Thats partly why I like this old Runcam with the metal case and I'm considering trying the Eagle. But for my Swift cameras, I cant remember where I got the extra camera lock rings, want to say banggood if I remember right. But I just put on two to three lock rings depending on what camera is it and tighten that screw down into the extra lock rings.

Project Blue Falcon Thanks for the help and advice man, and if you get the runcam eagle, get the 4:3 version since it's better for fpv racing than the 16:9.

Yea thats what I've been wondering. And wanting to know what it would be like with the Fatshark HD3's. But at the same time I don't feel like buying HD3's because I like my Dominator V3's. Maybe one day I'll find someone who has them and give it a try.

I have a similiar problem. I have the Runcam Owl 2.1mm lens and I have to the thread the lens through the front of the mount because the lens is to wide making tightening the lock ring on the camera impossible. I was able to use a screwdriver to tighten the lock ring but it's definitely a sub-optimal solution.

Hans Maybe put a small, thin piece of plywood or plastic between the excess frame gap and the camera for the grub screw to grab on to.

Did you replace the lens on your night eagle?
@ahmedelsafy93235 жыл бұрын
I have an m8 lens that I need to replace but I don’t know the specs, does any lens work or should I get something with at least some specs. Also I tried to unscrew the lens and it seems like stuck in the mount, I think the manufacturer glues the lens to keep the focus. Any advice will help me a lot please

I purchased a 3D printer last year and I can say it's been one of the best buys I have ever spent money on. I got a Malyan M180, I would recommend doing PLENTY of research before buying and I would not recommend the M180 as I think there are better options in the price range. I would also recommend adding in Simplify3D to the overall cost as it's is much better than any other slicer and worth the money. I would also recommend Fusion360 as the cad software. It's hands down the best free software on the market.
