Thank u for this video. I have a 2005 jeep liberty and I'm replacing struts. I did the upper control arm years ago. Im just watchin some vids to familiarize.

thanks for your video @K4ka207 today I was struggling with that strut,on a 2007 Jeep Liberty Limited 4x4,tomorrow Im gonna put in practice those tips,I was wondering how to put the new strut back on,it seems to be bigger,but what I need to do is to remove the brake caliper and the other bolt..your saving me on this one,thanks again!!

Anyone out there. Is it necessary to have a front wheel alignment done after the disturbance of all these suspention components? Thanks

Should not effect alignment. The parts are stable. ( no adjustment) according to my mechanic. If you’re lnstalling new ball joints, that will affect the alignment.

I literally had to cut the bolt off to remove it on my 2004 it would budge

In fact, you dont need to open upper control arm balljoint, neither remove the arm. Strut and lower fork will come out easily when separated. Opening swaybar rod bolt from one side of car will make it easier to bend lower control arm downwards. Done yesterday.
