Nice work gave me some insight where my rad support body mounts are (Replacing them all 12) My Tip to you : Get yourself 1500 grit sheet, 2000 grit, 3000, and 5000grit ( 3M brand ) You can get them looking brand new If you want to go the extra mile Any light compound will make it sparkle At the shop i will do this if a customer had 1 new light installed and the other one is yellow Its nice when they start looking at the wrong side of the car for prior damage And you tell them its the other side you repaired

How much did you spend on the parts from the junk yard? Like the hood?

I believe that all the parts were under 200. I'm not sure exactly how much the hood was but most of the body panels are around 45-65 dollars if you pull them yourself.

It took me about 8 hours total to swap the front end but it can be done quicker if you don't have a lot of cleanup with rust and you have good fitting parts!

What size are the big bolts that hold the core support in? The ones that go into the frame?

You can wipe the lamp with lacquer thinner and it works just as well, just don’t go back and forth, one wipe in one direction and you’re done.

@@toyshopfab try it on a old lamp you’ll be surprised at how easy it is, make sure the rag is good and wet and I recommend that you take it off the vehicle because it is lacquer thinner and will eat the paint.

What year Blazer is this? I have a 95 S10 that I need to do this on. Wondering if my year is a weld in core support and not as easy to replace as this.

I used Rustoluem semi gloss black and rubberized undercoating.
