I kind of get it though. Sam doesn’t use the GT3 like Tony does, leaving it at the Ring and using it on track. I think he’s scratched the itch and his life is different now. Although, I’d prefer he bought a front engined 812, they’re a lot more money!

That car just joined the list of rare cars that are all simultaneously the most objectively beautiful car in the world along side cars like the 500 trc, the Maserati bird cage series, ferrari's P series, the tipo 33, gullwings, slrs, 107s and pagodas, all paganis, the miura, gt40s, etc. And omg that instrument cluster is an engineering feat and exquisite work of art just by itself. Having owned an R171 SLK55 AMG for 3 years, Tony is bang on. Absolute dog of a car, but the engine and sound (once X-Piped) makes up for it. Proper fast bit of kit as well for the modest-ish bhp figure.

The portofino gets way too much hate in my opinion. It’s a drop top GT cruiser, it’s not meant to be the epitome of track performance! But even still it’s a proper RWD Ferrari with a 600+hp twin turbo V8 and a DCT. It’s still rapid and sounds good but you can also cruise around in style with the roof down. If you want a Pista get a Pista, different cars for different markets.

FYI Mr Segway didnt invent it he bought the company. His name was James Heselden and he made his fortune inventing the Stone Cages that the military use to build as blast walls round over seas bases. Camp Bastion in Afghanistan got its name from the company Hesco Bastion which is based in Leeds where James founded. They have a Harrier Jump Jet outside the main office block. I personally know his son Jason who is a massive petrolhead. He has a 918 Spyder in his collection...

Sam do not sell the GT3 for a Portofino 😂 they’re lifeless. If this is even something you’re remotely thinking of, then honestly, get a Cali T, 2/3 of the price and just way less “fake”. Spent a lot of time around both and Cali T is just such an unreal car. More than quick enough and just as much as a Ferrari as the Portofino.

The Purosangue (is that how you spell it?) is an SUV. It is unnecessarily tall, offers ridiculously little space for its size, rides on windmill sized tires and looks just horrible. The high seating position, its proportions and incapability to go offroad make it an SUV by definition. I will never forgive Ferrari for making such a vomit comet the successor to the FF and GTC 4 Lusso. Those were tasteful cars, shooting brake or estate.

I do find it interesting that you guys give Koenigsegg a hard time but wax lyrical about the engineering feats of this new Bugatti. It’s seems inconsistent. Koenigsegg are at the very cutting edge of automotive engineering, making powertrains, electrics, and new gearbox technology (just to name a few) that blows everyone else out of the water, but you don’t give them nearly as much credit as you do Bugatti.
