Pro tip.. Cut the end off of the post on the panel that the top regulator bolt goes through.. That way you can bolt the regulator on the side AND the top BEFORE the panel goes back on.. The bottom regulator bolt hole will align naturally.. Save at least 10-15 minutes fighting to align that top hole and start the bolt..

Hi there! - hey I just found your video after spending hours on this same task, thank you for the video as theres no videos on the magnitude of screws etc on how to pull off the 2014 jeep patriot rear door panel. What a pain in the ass! . So I have a question on the little black piece please - with red clip thats attached to the regulator - how did you get this off? I tried for a few hours and still can't get it off. Do you have a secret? thank you

The little red clips are locking mechanisms for the power plugs. They just slide back from the socket. If it comes completely off, it’s okay. It will slide back into the socket.

Hi. So I’m a dork. Does that mean that red piece pulls all the way out? And then do I pull the part out from putting pressure on the left side and pulling straight out to the left. ?? Thanks so much. Really appreciate your help

Not all the way. If it does, it’s fine. It will go back in.
