In this video, I try my best to give the best advice and as many hints around problems that I found during this installation. It’s not a full on tutorial but I hope it helps someone with having the confidence to tackle this job yourself. Thanks for watching guys, don’t forget to subscribe!

Brilliant video,yes that is sorted,I wouldn't have noticed the gearbox side myself being in a rush, but the car moves and drives how it should.great work.

Can’t believe he didn’t have the engine supported or chocked up. The whole weight of the engine and gearbox is only supported by the one engine mount by the cam belt and that can cause a lot of damage to the mount and other pipes such as air con or power steering hoses and also the exhaust is under stress, other than that what a great 👍 job. Well done mate I know from experience it’s not easy at all when doing it on the ground. Just some constructive criticism from a fellow Welshman 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

I just didn’t want anyone to make the same mistake as it’s an easy mistake to make and it was horrible undoing all of the work I had just done lol

Good job well done ,you never know till you try and each job builds your confidence up .Only advice i could add would be it would of been a good idea maybe to to soak the whole of the engine and underneath in a degreasing solution and jet wash all that oil and grime away before you started but other than that all is good .

I wanted to mate but I haven’t got electric in the garage at the moment or running water to get the jet wash on it😞 I did what I could with brake cleaner and some degreaser all around the engine and box. Looks decent after it left me. Thanks for the constructive feedback and thanks for watching mate! Appreciate it massively

1.5 hr the ball joints, anti roll Bar drop link's,triangles and sub frame, gearbox and plate flipped😂 It's amazing how much time you don't waste looking for right size tools😂. Oil in tomorrow, battery tray and wiring . Then it's done and I get payed 😎👍

When installing a new clutch and pressure plate onto the flywheel is there a certain position (other than the metal studs ) that the pressure plate assembly must locate? TIA

Be careful on the floor. I got a hernia doing that 😅 don't twist 😢 you are not kidding when you say you use your neck and abs. Nice tutorial though had a go at the weekend. Much easier on a ford than a Renault

Hey mate when did you cleaned up the fly wheel did you just spray it down and give it a wipe over or did you machine it back with a tool?

Just gave it a clean with some brake cleaner mate

Hi i recently changed my clutch after it started slipping badly. Now i see it engages when the pedal is released about an inch off the floor. Any idea on how to fix this?

I expect it fixed itself after the clutch had bedded in.

Was planning to do it myself, had everything on materials, but turns out: you cant buy ABS or any other muscle. Maybe I talk again with my garage.

How much gearbox fluid did you put in??

Just until it started to pour back out mate. Couldn’t tell you exactly how many litres

@@BTR_REBUILD It should be 2.3 litres or there about (11 syringes or so) . I think I might try a flexible tube and a funnel held above the engine if I try this - I expect I will have a helper.
