Replacing the hinge and Hinge pins on a Pacesetter Storm Door. First Remove the door from the house leave the screws on the outside of the door for last you will only need to remove the side with the hinge's on .Look on the inside on the hinged side for screws. I have been looking everywhere for someone to show me how to do this; thank you for being the one to explain it! I do have a question: our hinge pin replacement kit came with 6 bushings and 6 pins; do I have to put a pin on each end or just the top of each hinge and a bushing on the bottom?

Thank you for demonstrating this. I almost bought an entire new hinge bar / Z bar because I two hinges tore out in a wind storm and didn't think they could be reinserted.

So where do you buy the new pins and bushings? Are they nylon?

I realize your post is 9 years old, but in case someone else is thinking the same. There's an Amazon listing: White Storm Door Hinge Pin Kit (3-Pack) PRIME-LINE Store Price: $12.67 Other wise maybe go to local hardware store with one of the bushings and ask for the oldest employee there. They might be able to find something of use. IDK about the pins though.
