Thanks a mill! I bought my Prelude with a loose handle but the previous owner had already bought the replacement part and never got it put in. You saved me a trip to the dealership :D

I have a question about the switches you have in the door panel bottom pocket. What are they and are they factory?

That switch is for the heated seats, and yes it is factory

I have 2 quick question. I have an issue with the passenger door handle. It's locked but the handle doesn't lay flush to the car It flops. Will this fix my issue? Also it seem like when I hit the button to lock the door it does lock all the time. I have to manual flip the lock. Is there a fix for that?

Before buying a new handle I would take a look inside to make sure everything is properly connected first. There are 2 or 3 Rods to check. I would start with that

If I remember it correctly, you will need to take pliers and pinch it out or just cut the plastic retainer. But only if the new one comes with that retainer

Will the door handles of a 2001 fit a 97?

I'm having trouble taking the rod out holding the handle

Their should be a plastic clip holding the rod in. It's a type of clip that rotates off. Did you get that off?
