@@Centre14 Do you think they were past their 'sell by' dates; simply not dynamic enough any more?.. I recently watched and listened to a Andy Goode/Jim Hamilton podcast on YT (in which Sam Burgess was interviewed), that was very revealing, and disturbing, in respect of 'undertows' in the England management set up around that time... I also then watched another linked podcast in which Andy Goode was equally revealing... Thankfully for England, things seem resurrected under Eddie Jones. For me, obviously NZ will be in a better place experience wise/physically for RWC 2023, so too the English, for sure. In saying that, I thought the Bok pack was awesome in the final, and that was the clincher, for me. Go safe.
