Hello Sir I am about 30 and coming to Alberta to study a certificate program in January. I am coming to study business management so I am awaiting study Visa decision. I believe I will make it because my course is in demand as I heard especially in the oil and gas sector. so my plan is to finish 1 year program and apply for a pgwp and then apply for permanent residence. Although, I have a bachelor degree in law from Nigeria and also a law school certificate.

You can, but be aware of the challenges you will likely face during and after your PhD like getting a faculty position and all the likes

Most times, a 3 or 4 year bachelor degree is required

If you have competitive grades you could be considered for entrance scholarship. and once enrolled, there are more funding options.

would be challenging unless you have some scholarship. as a last resort, you can opt for study loans but they have high interest rates
