I'm a Denver fan but, I do enjoy this channel Great Work. While I don't have a right to know the Jets history fans suffering you go through. Denver went through this since SB50. The Bowlen trust was like Woody they had too much of we are only 1 QB away BS RW/AR both flopped. We went through first time HC's 3 times and they all failed. We lucked out and we got a new way richer ownership group the only reason we could eat RW dead cap and land SP. My advice to Jet fans is a total rebuild is best route not bandaid fixes. Proven HC is what I'd shoot for if I was a jet fan. Why I like O minded HC over D HC's is if you hit on a great HC you can keep him. If you have ok D HC and good or great OC they are hired elsewhere so awitching DC is so much easier.

At least draft a rookie QB, round 1 if we have to. The bright way to look at it is that we still have picks round 1-3, and with an actual good coach/GM regime, our roster will already be good enough to be viewed as competitive. I’d be alright drafting a guy round 1 (if in a position to) even if he won’t play until his second year.
@yoholmes2733 сағат бұрын
The new GM will address all of this moving forward. No sense in tbe rampant speculation of Rodgers or "new coach". First thing is first. We dont even know if Woody is going to be in country. New head of football ops, new GM, new coaching staff, and obviously a new QB.

Theres always the possibility that Rodgers request a trade, he said he may want to play next season but it doesn't mean its with the jets. And this is the best case scenario, trade him allow the other team to pick up his salary and cut your losses.

New coach, new GM, run it back with anyone under contract. No extensions, get 1 more year of dead cap off the books. Let the new coach and GM see who they like and who they don't start the rebuild in 2026. Fire everyone if they don't improve within 2 years, start over in 2028. Fire everyone again if they don't improve within 2 years, start over in 2030. Etc, etc, etc. I'm done with 4-6 year rebuilds. No other team has been this bad for this long.

I will be a little surprised if the Jets get a new GM and coaching staff if Rodgers returns, especially if the Jets do a complete rebuild. If the Jets hire McCarthy I can definitely see him returning, however If the Jets rebuild I could see them trading him to a contender or cutting before June 1st.
@kdude253 сағат бұрын
I'm not surprised if he comes back. Despite the struggles, you can tell he still loves playing the game. Losing of course sucks but I think he does want to win and keep going. Problem is he just seems he's lost some of what made him a hall of famer. I don't know what the best option is honestly. Knowing our luck, we'll go our separate ways and he'll play above average somewhere and lead a team to the playoffs. If this was Madden, I'd say trade him to Minnesota for Sam Darnold. Rodgers continues following Favre's path and Sam can finish his career as a Jet and take us to a Super Bowl. But it's not Madden so I don't know what it's gonna be like next year. What's most important is finding the right GM and Coach. Regardless of Rodgers stance next year.
@palicar2 сағат бұрын
It’s an awkward situation. On one hand, you give Aaron the respect a great veteran player deserves but on the other hand, you can’t give him so much power that it upsets the proper hierarchy. Best case scenario to me is he’s gone next year one way or the other. It’s hard to believe in a future with him when he’s trigger shy with open receivers and showing major accuracy problems. That’s some Daniel Jones level failure.

Bad take not rooted in reality. JeTs QB room is combined 75 years old and there are over 30% expiring contracts on roster. This team is designed to blow itself up at seasons end...which is why is was "win now" in the first place. Team has a handful of actual players and the rest are old, washed, jags, & bums.
