Whoa, this lady is a fanatical monster! She just keeps going and going and going like the Energizer Bunny 😂 🐇🐰🤯😳🥵💣💥🫣 Sometimes I think that the end of the world will come sooner than her video would end. 😂😂 I don’t know, I guess this should be a compliment. At least, I mean no malice on my part. But by far not everyone can take it in one take. Even myself, being private tutor and translator / editor of English… 😅 Thank God, not every student wants all this depth of information. For the most part, it is for professional linguistics majors and people who are infatuated with languages and want to write books/scientific papers. The majority of my students do not want that, they just need to start speaking.

Charming aura, enchanting voice, intelligent and very resourceful content. Growing addicted, with every lesson. Thank you for your generous and fruitful contribution to the English learner’s community. Question: When converting “Did you participate in those protests?” into the Reported Speech, shouldn’t we use The Past Perfect Tense, taking a step back into the time room where the protests belong? I very much hope the misconception is on my side.

Excellent and comprehensive information but honestly telling it was too much in one go; would have been better if it had been split into two. Nonetheless, your efforts, knowledge, and command over English language is amazing. I am benifitted a lot! Thank you very much.

Thank you very much!! 🎉 How come you didn’t touch upon reporting requests/orders/commands, with the infinitive? Or did I miss it in the video?

You did miss it, I believe. There's a section called 'Reporting imperative sentences'.

All text books say that you shouldn't change Conditional 2 in Reported speech

Well, you must change it if the condition is not relevant any more.
