It was great to see this explanation. I was just wanting to upgrade my dragon from the mat to bioactive and still kind of wondering if I would need the liner for the conversion if it’s a mor arid bioactive set up 🤔 I might just be being extra…thanks for the walkthrough! I wish they still had the backgrounds

Both would be great in a 4x2x2 pvc setup! You’ll love being able to open from front doors instead! They’re lightweight compared to tanks too!

Would you recommend a 4*2*4 for a Retic?

An actual Retic, or a super dwarf? It all depends if you are wanting to keep expanding and expanding, or get a big one at once. If it is a regular Retic, you are going to need something 16 ft plus at some point, and tall as well!

Love the enclosures. What about a growing red footed tortoise? Zen does not mention tortoises but I believe you have one correct?

I do have one! You can use extension kits and keep building on to your setup to increase space as much as you want!

I have 2 4x2x2 linked together for a 3 years old red foot tortoise. There is a lot of room to walk and to set a cold and hot side. This is perfect and it will be until it reach 9inch+. For 9inch+ you will need 8x4 minimum. For red foot, go with PVC.

Perfect timing. I plan on buying one for a bearded dragon. I love the look of yours. I did the hassle of building a PVC for my ball python. It turned out alright but not as attractive to look at.

Are they only located in your area ? Because I want to work for a pet store, the zoo, or any company that deals with animals. I’m tired of working in the food industry. Lol

They’re located in Hull MA. But they offer remote work. I don’t think they’re hiring right now, but you can always email on your resume so it’s on file!

I love my Zen. The ONLY thing I wished Zen did was to offer bigger enclosures without having to get the extension kit. That's it. Very solid, and a good price. I have a 4x2x2 fully bioactive or my Brazilian Rainbow Boa. I'd send you pics of mine, but I don't do any social media. I did share them with Zen back in the day, though. Keep up the good work. I will be upgrading my enclosure for my BCI soon, so I will be looking for 6 or 7 foot enclosures. Might do an extension since I know Zen's quality, or I might look around. PLEASE pass on the request for larger base enclosures. :)
