It might be possible to lower inflation, but that's more the job of the Federal Reserve than any elected official. Of course, it's certainly possible for elected officials to boost inflation with reckless spending. Biden and the Democrats proved that with their 9% inflation rate. Once prices go up, they seldom go down. Only the rate of increase (inflation) can be lowered.
