I prefer using underground stations to move people about.. then they just go in and pop out wherever they're going and I dont have to see all the traffic :D

In Montreal, buses aren't named after neighbourhoods but after the main streets they travel along. For example, if a bus runs along Sherbrooke Street, it'll be called something like the 24 Sherbrooke or the 105 Sherbrooke (real buses btw). This system keeps things straightforward and helps passengers easily identify which routes go where. If you want, you can choose this for some bus routes or just stick to your idea. Just a possible idea.

Similar to some of the bus routes in my rural, East of England UK town. The main bus route which has links to elsewhere on my housing estate (and the main shopping area present near the main housing) for example is Hawthorn Drive. This is full of mixed shop/flats. From here we can can catch the “linked” and shuttle buses” to the named commercial and industrial estates (Copdock/ Station Road Shuttle (which links the little park housing estates, Sprites, West, East, North and Southgate in town, The interchange and Whitehouse, Ellenbrooke for example) we then have a numbered system similar used in conjunction here and a dual method to other areas of town and additional housing, commercial and industrial estates and the surrounding towns and villages. Other towns might have only a numbered system that link so can make it a bit confusing especially when they have roadworks, bus replacements for the trains or the electronic bus info system is down - unless you use the app/qr code on your phone to pay for a electronic/paper free ticket - which will show you exactly where to go and which links are needed to get to your destination. These can be run by several different companies to all link up across the little towns and villages especially as you go into the surrounding counties. (My town is literally on the cusp of 3 counties, so there’s no universal system or company)

Best series I’ve seen in while; super engaging and fun to watch!! Also you’ve probably already thought of this or tried it, but at the big round about going into the new development area that’s got a big traffic jam; would it be possible to add an extra lane to the road and then connect them with an extra one way street beside it so that ideally it would operate almost like an off ramp or exit? Then you would get the 2 lanes of traffic entering the city without causing a major back up because the extra lanes would give traffic a way to merge without having to fight the extra traffic on the round about…..

A beautiful expansion for the city, its a shame that the really big skyscrapers didnt come in but theres always next episode, btw I do think the retaining wall look fits quite well into the whole stepping up with the terrain thing

you should make a pedestrian bridge between the old city/train station to the new deveopment.

Maybe a slip lane before the roundabout into the new area to help vehicles with the sharp turn and might help with the traffic as well.

i suggest to build some geothermanl power plant, they are very efficent especially with their full upgrades, they will need 2 high voltage cables to run the city and also export power
