Zurahfelt better after, but she was done with it. She is still quite playful and happy she is there. She would love an energy wash I think and if they can find a gold reiki master there, that would be good thing for her. She is work in progress doc. If she is stuck again next time, let them watch the way she places her back feet. Maybe the knee? Or she could need a orthopedic horseshoe.

I went for an additional course work, it took me approximately two years. A lot of people have two bales, and create a stair step. I only have one bale.

Why does she lick after the adjustment
@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen3 жыл бұрын
There are a lot of different opinions, but most people think its a "reset" that the animal, has integrated the adjustment. The horse will lick and chew it's mouth. The dog does a whole body shake. See my most recent video with the Dominican Rescue dog, at 6:40 I show the shake. But it's the same thing. A horse licks and chews.
@pamelapenick68713 жыл бұрын
@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen Different animals process in different ways, especially humans. Anyone who has extensive chiropractic and/or massage therapy work done knows the different ways we process. Other animals are no different. It would be nice to get a follow up video of adjustments that make a visible difference even if the care givers do it and it is short.
@satanielgaming3 жыл бұрын
Believable except for how much Doug claims he causes the licking and chewing..
@MsBizzyGurl3 жыл бұрын
Just as with human patients, one adjustment won't be enough. The cause of the misalignment must be addressed, adjustment then healing and reassessment will take several courses of treatment. Worth it, but any living being experiences skeletal degradation over time.

I hate it when they say things like “a vertebrae is out” when referring to muscular knots. If the horse really had a cervical vertebra sticking out, she would not be able to bend her neck, there would be all sorts of pinched nerves, and this horse would not be able to function. Certainly a human would not be able to just pop a vertebra back in place Willy nilly.
