Very good work and you can tell Yoda is moving and feeling much better. The brown horse, Rune was making sure his friend was alright and Yoda will probably do the same thing when your working on him, getting a sense of what is happening and listening to your soothing voice. Great and compassionate save and care the people do here saving these beautiful horses. They deserve a good life after years of hard labor. I want to start on a good note - thank you for helping Yoda, Dr. He's a beauty and so gentle and patient and seems so knowing and accepting. You feel like he's had a hard life and hadn't been loved and is learning how to be around good people who care for him - thank you also to helper Rune 😊 On a darker note - his previous abusers had that beautiful horse working for them and they didn't even try to help him? I find that sickening. Yoda could have avoided that blind fate - all those filth needed to do was a little preventative medicine - and Yoda was helping them - working with them - and they didn't even bother to help him. What sort of ungodly evil people would do that? Thank you to all that's good that he come into such good hands - I wish all beasties could have such good people looking after them.

I felt like it was positive. Yoda is in his teen years, and he won't change shape in 20 minutes. But I think you can see the process and approach. The main thing is that we were safe, respectful, and started to open him up, even if it was only a little.

But then animals are much more in tune with their bodies than humans & unless they’re forced to work in unnatural postures for them, once the strains, spasms & knots are released, I’m sure they’re probably better at not immediately going back into bad habits like we humans. I do find it amazing that they just meet you, let you poke, prod, push & stretch them, even on sore spots, yet every animal I’ve seen looks at you afterwards like you’re a little bit magic

I wanted to know about dog chin whiskers today so I asked Siri. This answer came back and I copied a portion of it for blind dogs. I figured horses whiskers did the same thing for them as the dogs, and remembered this magnificent draft horse I had viewed earlier. Wanted to share with you. With much appreciation for what you do. “Like Antennae or Canes Whiskers function much as antennae do in insects. They help dogs get a sense of their surroundings, particularly in dim light or in the dark. They also function as canes do for blind people. Whiskers are especially helpful to dogs who have vision impairment. Reflexes When you gently touch a dog's whiskers, the dog's eye on the same side of the whiskers you've touched will blink reflexively. The dog will very likely turn his head away from the side you've touched.” Did you know this?

I do enjoy seeing the other horses come along to love you up. They don’t need eyes to see your kindness. We had two partially sighted horses and they can ‘see’ remarkably well with their other senses, but then, horses are supernatural beings.

Yoda is a very sweet Belgian. His pal, Rue wanted part of the action, even though he is blind. Blind horses have an instinct that tells them to trust fully. Yoda was into his therapy session. The communication and trust between you and Yoda was awesome. Your methods for getting Yoda to relax was wonderful to see. Horses are so precious. Bless you for working with horses and animals.
