Seeing Dennis with these kids reminds me of a neighbor that my dad was friends with growing up. He was very well off and was always treating us kids well, giving us money for small jobs, and he even bought my brother's and I super expensive Nike's at one point. I will never forget that. Most of these are flips. These guys run adds all over the country and buy cars then flip them for profit. The cost to restore often is more than car is worth.

What a guy Dennis is, I’ve seen him before on Gas Monkey Garage but only just started watching his videos on KZbin. Love the way he treated everyone to a meal and gave plenty of money to the kids. Another Outstanding vid. When Alex asked the young man if he wanted to make a $100, then handed him the bumper out of the trunk, that was just Awesome !!!! That pizza looked great too. Great find 1962 Corvette .. a beauty when restored ! I would look out my window over seeing the 95 highway in New Rochelle, NY around 1972 when I was around 10 years old and watched these beautiful Corvettes drive by my window -- the best looking cars on the highway were Corvettes and I didn't know much about cars at 10 years old .. good luck restoring that beauty 1962 Corvette .... thanks for sharing

Your a class act Dennis. This is my fav. year Vette. My uncle , affectionately known as Whirlybird,was given a 1962 327 c.i./ 300hp Vette by his mother for merely graduating high school. She was a very influencial Madam in a large Ohio city when the country was booming. I saw the car once.It was black hard top red interior.Under the hood was a gorgeous pair of WCFB's sitting between aluminum rocker boxes.I helped him clean the fuel filter once which was in a fairly good sized glass bowl about mid point of the Carters.He told me he bought the whole dual four set-up at the dealership that got the car for his Mother Ann. That car sounded and looked like it was bringing hell with it.I've got a 1980 L82 black on black appearing all original, 350 under the hood is heavily modded nascar style as well as the drivetrain.Keep up the good work.👍

Dennis, we watch every Sunday. My wife wants to know why I'm not as thin as you and we eat alike. I'm on a treadmill every morning during the week too! My favorite part is the end where you find that best spot. We always seek out those type spots on vacations. In fact, we asked a local once, where his favorite place to eat was. He took us to his house. His WHOLE family shows up after church on Sunday. Long table for 10 and people are all over the house eating too. After 5 years, we are now best friends with that family. Gene has a 68 Camaro. I drive up my Mustang to Smiths Grove KY and we do shows together. He's my dad's age.. His wife is so much like my mother it's crazy. They also have been to our house in Corinth MS. My boys and I love Mustangs and have many and spend hours and hours in our hobby... Thanks for always taking that time for the kids out there!

Last year of the solid axle rear diff., I could picture this car as a gasser with a solid front axle, like one from an old pick up truck. Wow what a find. So sad to realize that every one of these barn finds means that there is one less of these "Holy Grail" classic old American beauty's for the next generation of young people like Dennis to go out and find. Another successful rescue accomplished, OUTSTANDING JOB. Keep us updated on this project. I have hella respect for the way Dennis extends so much respect for whoever is involved in his operation from Kelsy all the way to the seller . Mad respect for a real man who shows so much respect. People who show this much reverence to old Detroit steel are becoming a dying breed., and Kelsy has the heart and bank account to carry on her Dad's dreams when he finally has to go help God find some old muscle cars up yonder. I'm so glad that all of the years of hanging with Richard didn't corrupt this guy's generosity and his sense of fairness. Kelsey is one damn lucky young lady. Long live Dennis and his family and all of his crew, associate's and employees. Of all the shows on KZbin this one appears to be the most down to earth genuine and knowledgeable show that I watch, I'm NEVER bored for even a second to watching. Great video !! When I came home from the Marines in 1970 I was building nuke plants. One of the guys I worked with was going to Duluth, Minnesota for Thanksgiving and found a 62 Vet under a tarp along side a garage in Superior Wis and asked about it. His brother wanted it but had been laid off. I heard about it next week and drove up and bought it on December 18th 1971 for $750, took the fuelie off put a carb on and drove it home to Illinois. I outran my brotherinlaws mach 1 mustang with 428 cobrajet on the way. I did a frame off and made sure to keep numbers matching all the way.and it took 20 years and 2 divorces to finish it. It was black with black interior. I found the sintered metalic brake shoes at the Bloomington Gold swap meet for $2,000 in the factory boxes. Found a perfect hardtop for $1100. After 43 years of owning it, I sold it in 2014 when I moved. I put 2,000 miles on it and it was like sawing off my arm when I sold it to a great guy near Madison Wis. Thanks for sharing your story and brings back many great Memories.
