Rescued Puppy Mill Dogs Get a Second Chance

In July 2014, the Cherokee County Animal Shelter and Cherokee County Marshal's Office busted a huge puppy mill that had been operating in Georgia since the 1980s. All dogs and puppies were rescued from the horrific facility and were cared for at the Cherokee County Animal Shelter until they were ready for rescue or adoption. Many pregnant females gave birth shortly after the bust, and raising the final total of rescued dogs even further. The owners of the puppy mill plead guilty to 25 charges of animal cruelty and were sentenced to 25 consecutive years of probation.
This video takes you through the puppy mill bust firsthand, then shows you the day the dogs were adopted, and a very special reunion that took place one year later. Don't support this cruelty by buying puppies from flea markets or pet stores, or online. Instead, check out your local shelter or rescue group, or find a truly responsible breeder.

Aline Laura fun fact: if you have short term memory loss, you can only remember simple facts. same with dogs. they can remember the simple things and can learn and remember complex things over time. that's what my local vet told me when my dog was sick. also, I do not believe goldfish have a 5 second memory span, because then they would just be too stupid to live. don't call me an idiot, call my vet, family, friends, and all the books i read on dogs an idiot. I only stated what I believed was true. you could also maybe not call me stupid, that's just rude. technically, we are all stupid, because we don't know everything, even when we graduate college. if you have a friend who doesn't understand video games and you do, don't call them an idiot, because you might not understand the things they like, either. don't judge people because of what they believe and don't judge people on the actions they take. Malo boy Exactly. This is the reason why when I get older I'm gonna be rescuing animals from places like the pound. I'm gonna start adopting animals next year cause my parents finally agreed. I don't like seeing animals hurt or abused or homeless. And so many people think that they should die, they have a life just like us. They need to eat, and a place to sleep. And some animals can't survive cold conditions. It's sad when you really look into these things. The world isn't the same way I saw it when I was 5. AND I'M THIRTEEN!
