Who knew seals could hold grudges? The rescuers tried their hardest to keep the rescue as short as possible and to release him as soon as they successfully removed a loop of rope from his neck. But there was no thank-you interaction, just a growl and a snap, as if the seal wanted to say “Thanks for the mess in the first place, humans!” He’s got a point. Plastic pollution in the ocean is our doing, and this little seal has every right to hold all of us accountable.This seal's message is loud and clear: Let’s do better.
