I thought about it, I have some greenstuff paint that is similar to this color mix, super green with a purple shift. I even set it up with that in mind using the gloss black primer, but then I decided to test out the golden high flow colors since I haven’t used them on the channel yet. The other, and more important reason, is that I’m going to hold off on greenstuff world products until there’s a settlement between Vallejo and GSW over their trademark dispute for colorshift paints.

what is the tool you use to shape the greenstuff at 2:32?
@eBayMiniatureRescues4 жыл бұрын
It’s called a color shaper, I’ve been told they aren’t great for greenstuff, although I’ve had no problems using them for it, they work wonders with milliput though. I got mine off of eBay, but if you can get to a craft store with sculpting clay, they usually have them in packs. the gritty texture on her armor is that from your cleaning process?
@eBayMiniatureRescues5 жыл бұрын
Holding it in person I don’t see any grit, but in the video it does look textured. I’m sure it’s not from cleaning it off, I’ve stripped a lot of minis and haven’t seen any issues from it. The metallic flakes in the copper are larger than the other metals in that line, might be coming across as more of a texture than reflection. Or I didn’t thin the paint enough so it’s not smooth.

sorry for the unsolicited advice but I think it could have paid off to not divide the metallic color so that the dwarf kitbash stuff was predominantly a different color to the original celestine. I think the contrast serves to highlight the differences instead of drawing the pieces together. Also If I'm already giving unsolicited advice I feel I should mention that music with lyrics are a bit distracting and clutter the sound of your videos.
