I love how Hemlock sound truly terrified. He is used to have everything under control, Tantiss was his kingdom, his fortress. He did not face such challenges until Bad Batch showed up, and his prized cx assasins were defeated, he lost his base and everything. Great character with deserved death

Hemlock met his match in Omega. She was a chaotic little gremlin, the living antithesis of all that. She came back to Tantiss and immediately started setting up the pieces of her escape. She wasn’t locked in that base with Hemlock; he was locked in there with her.

Dr Royce Hemlock was one of Star Wars best villains in years and I loved that we were given a truly darker imperial enemy a true threat to our hero’s and a badass villain for season 2 and season 3 shame we never learned the secret about his gloved hand but some mysterious are better left unsolved and what’s truly scary about Hemlocks presence in the Star Wars universe is he’s finally gone but his legacy and work on Project Necromancer will live on years after his death during the New Republic era showing how instrumental he truly was to The Empire

Of course, but the progress was severely hindered due to the Bad Batch's actions. It's the reason why Palpatine's clone in RoS is so weak and barely able to sustain his force essence, because the key component that was Omega was lost.

Usually, it takes one blaster shot to kill someone. And considering Hemlock wasn't wearing any kind of armor, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say he was probably already dead after at least the 2nd shot. Hunter & Crosshair just wanted to keep shooting the prick till he fell over 😅

Actually, after every shot, it looks like Hemlock was literally stabilising himself with his arms to stop himself from falling over. There was quite a delay between those last few volleys. If Hemlock was already dead, he would’ve fallen over by then. The fact that he didn’t means that the madlad took those blaster bolts like a champ without any armour until he fell off the side of the bridge.

Yup. Hunter and Crosshair had just been tortured, so their first two shots were imprecise, and only wounded Hemlock. The third and the fourth were already fatal, but they kept shooting out of anger and spite.

I love how Omega hugged Crosshair initially before including Hunter. Such a beautiful moment! The one thing I was certain of was Cross’s redemption but as predictable as it was seeing the growth in his character and the bond between him and Omega develop and strengthen was beautiful. Her initial hesitation to hug Crosshair and Hunter’s go ahead gesture was a nice touch too. I actually missed it the first few times where it was only a quick glance at Crosshair. So well done!

The tantis base is not totally destroyed. And the data/materials the emperor was looking on his visit is not destroyed. An imperial remnant can reclaim this base and relaunch the project
