Not only that, but when he says “they’re clones” all the regular CTs perk up and pay attention, almost like they’re realizing. The Commando, his reaction is more to the “yeah, but” from Wolfe. Really love the clones and how close they are to real soldiers. You’re taught that there’s no difference between you and the man/woman next to you in the armed forces. This takes it to the Nth degree. The brainwashing is evident, but it rarely overpowers common sense. I’ve got a feeling a lot of these clones didn’t make it, disobeying the empire and all

One thing this show did that I loved was that it gave some much needed continuity of both the physical and psychological fate of the clones after Order 66. I always thought that the chips forever turned them into mindless, hostile soldiers that would follow any order without question after the order was issued, and the only ones that remained themselves were either defective clones or clones that had their chips removed. The series showed us that this thankfully was not the case, or at least, not after enough time had passed. In spite of their programming, the clones still retained some level of humanity and morality. Wolffe still had his inhibitor chip in this scene, as did Cody in Season 2 and Howzer in Season 1, yet all of them were still able to recognize when they were doing the wrong thing, and they backed down to do the right thing even when it conflicted with their orders, with some hints of remorse for what they did. It's definitely a nice way of conveying the nature vs. nurture dynamic. Even though these clones were engineered for obedience and loyalty, their experiences in the war and fellowship with each other and the Jedi they served with shaped and elevated them into something so much more than just expendable soldiers.

There is no possible way that it could have been Tech. Tech isn't as proficient in combat as Hunter or Crosshair. If it really was Tech, Crosshair would have clapped him.

Crosshair said that reconditioning didn't work on him because he is defective. So given that, it wouldn't work on Tech either. It's most likely Cody or a Cloned version of Crosshair

I am surprised the Clone Commando didn't arrest Wolffe for his orders.

Rex just lose 4 men to a single Shadow Clone assassin. My heart was beating throughout the episode hoping Howzer and Nemec would at least made it but only Howzer made it alongside the others... RIP To Nemec and the other 3.

Commander Wolffe!

I always theorized that it took a lot longer for Wolffe to eventually rebel based on the fact that he still retains anti-Jedi sentiment in his Rebels debut and this episode confirms it

Make sense Wolffe has always been by the book type of clone specially compared to Rex or even Cody which somehow adopted their Jedi commanders penchant for disobeying orders.

It seems that Wolffe and the clones still got under the effects of orders of the Empire they called "Execute Order 66"
