thank you very much!!!!!!!!! i have one question, assume there is four districts in city and out of these i only considered two districts (due to logistics and other fesibility issue) again there are number of branchs and respective study participantes so these approch is stratified or cluster???
@VahidAryadoust2 жыл бұрын
Neither, strictly speaking, but it is closer to stratified sampling.

Hi can you help me what sampling method should I use without using cluster method. 1. If company of the internet Provider is interested to know the sufficiency of the internet connection in selected barangays in Caloocan City during this pandemic and decided to conduct a survey for its service improvements. Design a sampling method and explain how you will do the selection of sample.
@VahidAryadoust4 жыл бұрын
Any sampling method may be relevant, depending on the goals of the study.

@@VahidAryadoust wow thank you for the response, this is the goal of the internet provider to do some interview in selected barangay of caloocan city regarding their service improvements. Caloocan city had a 180 baranggay then each baranggay has so many streets inside of it and inside streets so many households. My professor said we can use anything except cluster.. I choose systematic period, is it correct? I just stop in the steps of choosing sample size of 10 baranggay in 180 brgy. in caloocan city.. help me pls huhu
@VahidAryadoust4 жыл бұрын
@@lezah1207 yes, you should follow the advice of your professor. Whichever method you will choose, ensure to have a strong and theoretically justified reasoning for it. All the best.

@@VahidAryadoust okay so there is no right wrong.. another question im sorry.. Do I need to add anothers stage? or it is enough systematic only? just choose 10 bara?nggay

1. Stratified Sampling- characterizing internet users on the basis of internet used per day or you can do it by the age and select 15-20 by the method of random sampling from each strata. 2. You can do a systematic sampling by visiting every 3 homes using the internet and do it 10-15 times(will be hard to do) 3. Simply call 15-20 users and ask for feedback- Random Sampling. :)

what should the sampling technique look like in quantitative comparative studies between countries? some say you need to have equal samples, others say no since it is quantitative you need to follow rules strictly and then sample should be proportional. help me I am conducting quantitative comparative study in Education between India and Ethiopia. I am Ph.D student in Punjabi University, India
